Green Dot Balls
For this grade players should attempt to serve overarm from the baseline, however as they are learning, they can serve overarm up to 3/4 of the distance
between the service box and the baseline. Encourage players to serve overarm for the first serve. If they choose to serve underarm for
their second serve, from the baseline only, they need to hit the ball on the full and not let
the ball bounce and then hit it over the net.
Please note Ellesmere Tennis will supply chalk for each manager to
mark where 3/4 of the distance between the service box and the
baseline is.
